Louise Walker, Executive Director
Louise is an experienced business consultant, bringing the Chamber a wealth of knowledge and expertise with a focus on research, strategy, marketing and business development.
Hailing from Scotland, Louise has experience working within a range of business operations, including a small consultancy, multinational enterprise, as well as developing an entrepreneurial start-up. Projects ranged from market entry strategies to brand development and economic impact assessments. Clients spanned a range of sectors, including government bodies such as the Scottish Government and VisitScotland, global blue-chip companies such as Sony and Carlsberg, as well as many local small-medium sized businesses.
Drawn to the Sea to Sky in 2008, Louise spent eight years with Tourism Whistler, latterly as Vice President, Marketing and Strategy, with responsibility for marketing, research, events, communications, partnerships and whistler.com (website and sales channel). She was actively involved in economic development and sat on the board of the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, Cornucopia and the executive of the Whistler Festival, Events and Animation working group. Louise leads operations at the Squamish Chamber and is an active participant on various committees such as the Squamish Economic Steering Group.
Louise holds a BA in Marketing Management, studied strategy through the Executive Education program at Sauder School of Business (UBC), and is a prior member of the UK Market Research Society (MRS), the Association of Qualitative Research (AQR) and the European Society of Market Research (ESOMAR).
Chelsy Campbell, Operations and Member Coordinator
Born and raised in Squamish, Chelsy is dedicated to enhancing and growing the Squamish community. She joined the Squamish Chamber in 2014 following a successful practicum with the Chamber as part of her studies in Business Administration at Vancouver Community College.
In her role at the Squamish Chamber, Chelsy coordinates membership services, operations and office administration. She provides support to both staff and membership and can assist with any questions you may have around member benefits, updates to business listings and financial related enquiries (e.g. payments and invoicing).
Jennifer Mooney, Events and Communications Coordinator
Jennifer is responsible for the planning and execution of events, along with marketing and communication through the Chamber’s various channels (newsletter, website, social media). With a background in marketing, sales and business administration, Jennifer brings a wide range of skills to the role and can assist with any questions you may have around events and marketing opportunities.
A long-term local, Jennifer is passionate about Squamish and being connected to an amazing, growing community of entrepreneurs, volunteers and innovators. Jennifer holds a BC in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. See you at the next Après!
