Squamish. Locals know it is an outdoor recreation playground, “Hardwired for Adventure” with almost unlimited activities on offer.

For years, there has been talk of building a resort on Brohm Ridge, stretching back to the days when Hollywood’s Rat Pack built a cabin up there in the 1960s. Now, the proposal is closer than ever with a completed Draft Master Plan and EAO Certificate Approval.

The Resort will be designed to be a go-to destination for people who want to experience the amazing views and alpine terrain located above Squamish. Whether they want to hike along mountain ridges and look out to the ocean, mountain bike on custom built downhill or cross-country trails, ski steep downhills or easy hills with their family, or just take in the views on easy walks or from a mountaintop restaurant, the vision is to create a unique, park-like outdoor recreation experience where everyone from local adventure enthusiasts to international visitors can have an amazing life experience. The Resort will be built sustainably from the start, and provide its own staff housing.

Built out over at least 20 years, the project is expected to invest over $3.5 billion in Squamish over construction, and provide over 4,000 direct jobs.
