OurSquamish

OurSquamish is a community group that advocates for and assists with changes to improve the daily lives of Squamish residents. Our vision is for Squamish to become a beacon of livability that supports an inclusive, engaged, and healthy community. We empower members from a diversity of backgrounds to have a voice in how Squamish evolves. We unite under a shared vision of a livable and sustainable future for Squamish.

Specifically, we will work with town council, planners, and community builders to prioritize livability initiatives such as pedestrian first principles, a lively street, and bicycle infrastructure. We will be a representative voice for the community insofar as livability is concerned and a resource for concerned groups to consult. We will leverage our in-house resources to take on the advancement of specific projects such as street furniture, facade improvements, community events, and more.
