About the Squamish Hospital Foundation
The Squamish Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Squamish Hospital. The Foundation raises financial resources needed for health care equipment, state of the art technology, capital projects and education. Established in 1995 by Doctor Laverne Kindree the Squamish Hospital Foundation has raised more than $1.5 million to improve health care throughout our community and the wider Sea to Sky region. The Foundation works on an ongoing basis with Vancouver Coastal Health and Squamish General Hospital medical staff and administrators, to identify equipment and special project needs not covered by the annual provincial or regional health budgets.  The Foundation’s role is to inspire, motive, and link donor and community support to invest in the Squamish Hospital Foundation.
