The Team
Anne Mackenzie
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A native Nova Scotian, and graduate of McGill University, Anne is an 18 year Squamish local who has thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of living, playing and raising her family here. Her background in Tourism and Hospitality informs her approach to work every day, with an ethos of prioritizing relationships and being of service to others. After years of working for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, followed by the Sea to Sky Gondola, an opportunity to lead Business Development and Membership initiatives with the Whistler Chamber of Commerce led her to work in the non-profit sphere, which quickly captured her passion and desire to support business owners and entrepreneurs.
Anne is keen to bring her strengths as a leader to the Squamish Chamber team, and continue to foster a diverse and vibrant business community.
Jordana Manchester
MEMBER SERVICES & MARKETING COORDINATOR
Making the move to Squamish in 2017 with her then infant son, Jordana has spent the last seven years running her travel business, mentoring fellow travel business owners, and connecting with the Squamish community. As a University of British Columbia graduate in social anthropology, Jordana has a keen interest in the cultural aspects of business, community building and advocacy around diversity and inclusion.
When she’s not taking care of our amazing Chamber members, you’ll find her around town on self-directed food and beverage tours, on the trails with her four-legged and two-legged kids, or cruising down the Sea-to-Sky to the airport for a new adventure.
Allison Hulme
EVENTS COORDINATOR
Allison moved to Squamish in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the community and its breathtaking mountain scenery. With a background in fine arts, she’s passionate about bringing people together through creativity and connection—whether it’s through planning events that help local businesses thrive or using social media to connect with business owners and spread the word about what’s happening around town. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her running on the trails, snowboarding, hiking, or camping—embracing everything this vibrant outdoor community has to offer.
Board of Directors
PRESIDENT
Coast Mountain Law
I am a third year associate lawyer at Coast Mountain law. My practice is largely split between family law and civil litigation. Although I am a relatively junior lawyer, I have quite a diverse and rigorous work / volunteer background. During my undergraduate degree, I obtained five professional summer positions at Microsoft, Scotiabank, AGF Investments, Gowling WLG and DundeeWealth. These positions allowed me to gain extensive and valuable professional development at an early age and exposure to a diverse collection of industries, people and perspectives. During law school at the University of Calgary, I volunteered / worked full-time for a pro bono legal services charity providing assistance and advocacy to the least fortunate populations in the city. As a student executive at this charity, I was exposed to a well-functioning Board of Directors that comprised of lawyers, judges and other community leaders. My time working with this charity awakened my desire to dedicate a significant amount of my professional capacity to community-based programs like the Chamber of Commerce. Since moving to Squamish in 2020, I have learned a lot about this special community and have developed a large network of people who share this passion (with help from the Chamber’s Apres events). In 2023, I became the Supervising Lawyer for Sea to Sky Community Services Legal Advocacy Program, which offers advocacy support and assistance to financially restricted individuals and families in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. In my free time, you can find me skiing, mountain biking and hiking.

Porcupine Mechanical
Porcupine Mechanical
I co-own Porcupine Mechanical, where I lead marketing and business development.
My husband Simon and I incorporated the company in early 2024 and began operating that spring as a scrappy, bootstrapped startup. Despite a challenging economic environment, we’ve continued to grow as a local company working in the green economy, helping homeowners and businesses transition toward more energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.
Before entering the building services industry, I worked in healthcare. I hold a BSc in Biology and trained as a Registered Massage Therapist and Osteopath with a specialization in jaw dysfunction and rehabilitation. Osteopathy, in particular, shaped how I approach problem solving. When something isn’t working, you have to look upstream. That mindset naturally translates into systems thinking in business—understanding how interconnected pieces influence outcomes.
I enjoy bringing people and ideas together to solve problems. I’m often the person identifying the resources needed to move an initiative forward and translating complex information into language that builds trust and confidence.
As our company grows, I’ve increasingly focused on dialing in the systems that support long-term stability, accountability, and responsible growth. Most recently, that has meant strengthening our financial systems as we work toward building a well oiled operation.
Within the Squamish community, I developed and organized Renovate Right a homeowner education event, which brought together several industry leaders in town to help homeowners better understand what’s involved in a renovation. Our company has also participated in the District of Squamish’s Circular Economy Initiative. We’ve supported the Chamber’s entrepreneur pitch program and previously personally facilitated a local parent group focused on helping families introduce financial literacy concepts to their children
