Essential Frontline Skills

Interactive training with actionable, easy to recall techniques for you to become a more effective communicator.

Be a good H.O.S.T, understand your brand, improve your listening skills, read non-verbal cues and use powerful questions.

Challenge everything you know about sales philosophy, customer engagement, and increase your business results. 

In this 2.5 hour workshop we will give you strategies to better anticipate, recognize and resolve conflict at work and all aspects of your life.

What Courses are Available

Squamish Excellence offers four pillars of training.
 
  1.  Service Spotlight is a one-hour course and ideal for anyone looking to brush up their customer services skills and learn more about Squamish.  Perfect for new staff to Squamish. Currently being converted online.
  2. Essential Frontline Skills cover Communication, Sales & Service, and Conflict Management. These classroom training courses are two hours and are a ‘must do’ for all businesses. From just $35!
  3. Stepping into Leadership is a six session course for supervisors, managers and business owners wanting to develop their workplace leadership skills. From $299
  4. Squamish Business Academy offers a range of courses, from Governance workshops to media training. Online courses being created.

Squamish Excellence is a partnership between the Squamish Chamber, Tourism Squamish and the District of Squamish. All partners, along with the Province of BC, have invested in the program in order to provide access to affordable, customized training as part of an initiative to address challenges with staff recruitment and retention.
