What inspired you to start your business, and how does it reflect the unique spirit of Squamish?
I was inspired to start my business by a deep desire to help people navigate one of life’s biggest financial decisions with confidence and clarity. Living in Squamish, I’m constantly reminded of how important it is to feel grounded—whether it’s being in the mountains or having a place to call home. This community is full of driven, adventurous people like me who value freedom, connection, and integrity, and that aligns perfectly with how I work. I bring that same grounded, transparent, and hardworking energy into my business every day.

How does your business contribute to the Squamish community and/or support the local economy?
As a local small business, I’m proud to reinvest in Squamish—whether it’s through partnerships with other local professionals, supporting clients who are buying their first homes here, or simply being a trustworthy, approachable resource. I like to help people put down roots, and that has a ripple effect in our community. When people feel secure in their homeownership journey, they’re more engaged, more invested, and more likely to contribute positively to our local economy.
3. What products or services do you offer, and what sets them apart from others in the community?
I offer personalized mortgage solutions for home purchases, renewals, refinancing, and more—including options for self-employed individuals and first-time buyers. What sets my service apart is my commitment to finding not just the best rate, but the best fit for each client’s lifestyle and long-term goals. I work with over 30 lenders, including major banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders, so I can tailor solutions that a single institution just can’t match. My clients know they’re not just a file—they’re a relationship I’m invested in.
4. Can you share a memorable story or milestone that highlights your journey as a business owner in Squamish?
One of my favourite milestones was helping a young couple secure their first home right here in Squamish. They were passionate climbers who dreamed of living near the Chief and raising a family close to nature. Their situation was a bit complex—self-employed with non-traditional income—but I was able to guide them through the process, find the right lender, and get them the keys to a home they truly loved. Seeing them thrive in this community reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
5. What do you love most about being part of the Squamish community, and how can locals connect with you?
What I love most about Squamish is the energy—it’s a place where people work hard, play hard, and genuinely support each other. Whether you’re skiing before lunch, biking after work, or hiking the climb trail, there’s a shared appreciation for nature and connection.
