Kinder Roots is a design-forward early childhood academy with our flagship location opening at Redbridge in Squamish this October 2026. We serve 117 children aged 10 months to 5 years across three programs — Infant Toddler (10 months – 36 months), JK1 & JK2 (3 years – 5 years).
We believe the early years deserve more intention, and Kinder Roots is being designed around the way children actually grow — through beautiful spaces that support calm and regulation, meaningful relationships, steady routines, movement, storytelling, nature, and moments that help build confidence and independence.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that a child’s environment shapes how they feel, learn, and grow. That is why we have invested significantly in the design and construction of our spaces. Every detail is designed with purpose — from reading nooks that allow children to receive one-on-one time and enjoy storytelling, to grab bars and mirrors that help young children learn to walk while building confidence, self-awareness, and independence.
Kinder Roots was created in response to the growing need for childcare in Squamish and we’re building relationships across the community ahead of opening. We welcome the chance to connect with fellow Chamber members while becoming a trusted community partner for families, educators, local businesses, and the broader Squamish community.
