The Squamish Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome five incumbent and six newcomers to the board for a one-year term for 2022/23. Each Board Director volunteers their expertise, time and knowledge to supporting the Squamish Chamber and the Squamish business community.
Directors were formally elected at the AGM on May 18, 2022. Following the election of the Board of Directors, an anonymous ballot was held to appoint President, Vice-President and Secretary roles. Abby Majendie was elected as President, Catherine Webster as Vice-President and Christine Barton as Secretary.
The Squamish Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Squamish community by actively supporting business, economic growth and diversification. The Chamber takes a leadership role in advocating for the interest of Squamish business and provides member services such as networking and educational events, policy positions and partnerships with other organizations.
