Squamish Chamber of Commerce Media Release

Squamish, BC – May 14, 2020 – The Squamish Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with mobile technology company GetintheLoop.

This partnership is to assist Squamish businesses with promoting their available products and services as business starts to reopen.

 

Through this initiative, the Squamish Chamber of Commerce and GetintheLoop have created a Community Connections Program. It has been established to provide free access to GetintheLoop’s mobile marketing platform for Squamish businesses to reach local residents on their smartphones, over email and web while their customers are practicing physical distancing.

 

Louise Walker, Executive Director of the Squamish Chamber , says, “As the voice of business in the Squamish area, we saw our member’s need to communicate to the public during these challenging business conditions. We wanted to expand our support to provide allSquamish businesses with free access to GetintheLoop’s platform as a way to help themstay connected to area residents with offers and information about how we can support them now, and as our community recovers”.

 

The program will provide all residents with a single source of accurate and relevant local business information. Businesses can post dynamic, “live” offers such as delivery or curb-side pick-up options, gift card programs, online classes, and most importantly incentives to su pport local business now and as businesses start to reopen.

 

GetintheLoop’s Founder and CEO, Matt Crowell says, “We’re thrilled to partner with an innovative, community-minded organization like the Squamish Chamber, who can use our technology to help the community stay connected, and support local entrepreneurs during this critical time.”

 

GetintheLoop local representative Kurt Larson adds, “Residents can download GetintheLoop’s free app and register to receive email and push notification updates directly on their phone and through our web integration can also browse Squamish and area offers on the Squamish Chamber website.”
